Mrs. Bertha Moller of Minneapolis, Minn., campaigned for state suffrage before joining the NWP. She was interested in industrial problems. Of Swedish descent, she had two uncles that were members of the Swedish parliament. She served two jail sentences; one of 24 hours for applauding suffragists in court, and another of five days for participation in watchfire demonstration in January 1919.
