Citizenship - 14th Amendment

The 14th Amendment, passed in 1868, prohibits states from denying to any person in their state the equal protection of the laws. The 14th Amendment prohibits states from making or enforcing any law that shall “deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.”
